Cedar Wind is a unique blending of Christine's traditional Native American flutes
and Al's classical silver flutes, with the sparkling addition of hand drum, rattle and bells.

Christine's heritage is Cree and she is recognized nationally as one of the foremost
female professional native flute players. Al has been honored as an outstanding
classical flute player, session musician, record producer and composer.

The duo composes all their beautiful, sophisticated instrumental music. Along with their
playing they tell the interesting stories about the songs, culture and instruments. They wish
to give voice to their gratitude and love for the Spirit of Mother Earth.

Cedar Wind has appeared at venues as diverse as the Democratic Convention, Indian
Summer, Milwaukee Public Museum, Aurora University and have been on CBS's 48 Hours.

Feather on the Wind by Cedar Wind blends the music of the Native American flute with
the mellow sound of Alto and Bass flute to create a unique duet which will inspire and relax you.
Featuring all original compositions in the Native tradition, these exceptional songs are presented
with beautiful harmonies and the relaxing sounds of nature. Christine's Cree heritage and Al's
French lineage produce a combination of music an culture that reflects historical tradition, yet
produces a new sound that is sure to please you.

Christine Ibach's heritage is Cree and she received her first flute at a Mohican pow-wow.
This wonderful gift includes the honor of studying with Native American flute master
R. Carlos Nakai. Christine is also an accomplished classical guitar player and a traditional dancer.

Al Jewer has played silver concert flute for the last 26 years, in styles ranging from
Classical to Rock. However, twelve years ago he discovered the beauty of the
Native American flute and its simple yet profound music. Through this experience,
Al has found his true musical voice. Al also plays wind synthesizer and keyboards.
